Beefing about beef again

beef ad So I'm almost running out of vitriol for this campaign. I am a beef lover. I kill for a good steak. I toss 4.5 inches of Porterhouse on the grill with some regularity. I am nuts for a 40-day aged bone-in rib steak. Just a little salt and pepper. Maybe a rub with some garlic and extra virgin olive oil. Occasionally a rub of the great spice mix from "Just an olde fashioned butchery" here in Oakville.

BUT...from the first time I saw this campaign in Wine Spectator it almost made me hurl. Enormous humungous chunks of meating either floating in a sea of 'stuff' - see older posts - or this one reminiscent of South Africa's Tabletop mountain rising from a foundation of salt - is not appetizing.

It's gross.

Please stop.
